The Guild Chat is IC all the time

In Character Rules/Guidelines

Everyone who is a member of Vasallus has been put through a interview process IC where the interviewing officer has gotten a good idea to the new members style and rp ability. We accept a wide range of styles and levels but we at least expect a decent typing pace and a literacy level of at least grade 10. We don’t want to see shorthand.

The Guild Channel is set up in the Guild Hall which is positioned right outside the city of Darnassus in Teldrassil. There is a thread that has a rough diagram (Done in MS Paint) Of the basic positioning of everything. As for architecture, it’s Night Elven to help it blend in with the other buildings.

Now for your character the guidelines are fairly simple. Abide by the fact the guild is light based an promotes peace between allies and organized warfare against enemies. Obey the Officer in charge of your faction and do not kill unless it is defensive. Help out others in need, etc, pretty much act the good Samaritan.

Out of Character Rules/Guidelines

All myself and my officers ask is that you remain courteous with other members and us. We want this to be a friendly and helping environment where anyone can ask questions or feel welcome no matter what. If you have a problem with another member take it up with your factions officer and they will deal with it as they see fit. If you feel the need for mediation any officers would be more then willing to play the mediating party.

The Guild is cut up into separate ‘factions’ to help in instancing and raiding. Think of it as a small country if you want to. Here’s a small description of what each ‘faction’ does.

Military: These are the tanks and the close-ranged DPS when it comes to Raids and Instances. They also act IC as a type of protection unit. Paladins, Death Knights, Feral Druids, Warriors, etc fall into this category.

Support: The healers and long-ranged DPS when it comes to Raids and Instances. They also act IC as a type of protection unit. Hunters, Priests, Restro Druids, Mages, etc fall into this category

Supplies: No specific class need for this faction, the supplies group is a small group of individuals who will have control over the looting in Raids and Instances as well as handing out any BoP loot. They will also be the ones who will be in charge of bank needs and in charge of who takes what and who has been loaned what gold.

Civilians: These are those who are in the guild for rp, for a home ic wise. These are people who aren’t into heavy raiding but might want an instance or raid here and there. These are those who the Military and Support protect.

At the top of the rankings is the Dominius, I.e. the guild master. The one in charge of the total operation and his/her Advisors. Each faction will have one officer who is in charge of their unit and will give promotions as they see fit. They will also be in charge of the recruitment for their unit unless they require assistance.

The Rules and Guidelines are still under heavy construction. Please check back regularly for changes and/or updates.
